So Green Baby

I have a Great Customer Service Story to share with you. I recently found So Green Baby an online cloth diapering( and more) Store.

So Green Baby went above and beyond for me.. end result is a very happy Customer with plans to continue to shop for my baby's need at So Green Baby.

Excellent Customer Service is so rare, especially with online shopping it can be so impersonal, so when I unexpectedly come across a store that makes online shopping personal I have to rave about it. They have some amazing deals going on see the image below about their Free Shipping!!!

You should seriously check them out...

You will find familiar popular names in the cloth diapering industry such as Gro Baby, Fuzzi Bunz, Happy Heiny's, Thirties, Rockin' Green, as well as Natural clothing ,baby toys, and skin care.

So Green Baby is the place to shop!

It is Aloha Friday! In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that people take it easy and look forward to the weekend. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your comment below and link in Kailani’s blog.

Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new blog friends!

This week's question is:

Are you dreaming of a White Christmas? Do you live in an area where you are likely to get snow for the holiday?

I live in CANADA (Prince Edward Island) It is pretty much a given that we have snow for Christmas... One year I think it was 2004 Christmas day was so mild and definitely no snow...we received a major snow storm on Boxing day that left us shut in for a few days...Thank goodness for leftover turkey and Christmas treats... as well as lots of things to keep the kids busy...

A WOMAN'S WEEK AT THE GYM

I received this story in an email a while a go and came across it
today,

I thought I would share it and see if you all find this humorous.

A WOMAN'S WEEK AT THE GYM
If you read this without laughing out loud, there is
something
wrong with you. This is dedicated to everyone who ever
attempted
to get into a regular workout routine.

Dear Diary,

For my birthday this year, my daughter (the dear)
purchased
a week of personal training at the local health
club for me.

Although I am still in great shape since being a
high school
football cheerleader 43 years ago, I decided it would
be a good
idea to go ahead and give it a try.

I called the club and made my reservations with a
personal trainer
named Belinda, who identified herself as a 26-year-old
aerobics
instructor and model for athletic clothing and swim wear.

My daughter seemed pleased with my enthusiasm to get
started!
The club encouraged me to keep a diary to chart my
progress
MONDAY:

Started my day at 6:00 a.m. Tough to get out of bed, but
found it was
well worth it when I arrived at the health club to find
Belinda waiting
for me.She is something of a Greek goddess - with blonde
hair,dancing
eyes and a dazzling white smile. Woo Hoo!! Belinda gave
me a tour and
showed me the machines. I enjoyed watching the skillful
way in which she
conducted her aerobics class after my workout today.
Very inspiring!
Belinda was encouraging as I did my sit-ups, although
my gut was
already aching from holding it in the whole time
she was around.
This is going to be a FANTASTIC week-!!

TUESDAY:

I drank a whole pot of coffee, but I finally made it
out the door.
Belinda made me lie on my back and push a heavy
iron bar into the
air then she put weights on it! My legs were a
little wobbly on
the treadmill, but I made the full mile. Belinda's
rewarding smile
made it all worthwhile. I feel GREAT-!! It's a whole
new life for me.

WEDNESDAY:
The only way I can brush my teeth is by laying the
toothbrush on the
counter and moving my mouth back and forth over it.
I believe I have a
hernia in both pectorals. Driving was OK as long as
I didn't try to
steer or stop. I parked on top of a GEO in the
club parking lot.
Belinda was impatient with me, insisting that my
screams bothered
other club members. Her voice is a little too perky
for early in the
morning and when she scolds, she gets this nasally
whine that is VERY
annoying. My chest hurt when I got on the treadmill,
so Belinda put me
on the stair monster. Why the Hell would anyone invent
a machine to
simulate an activity rendered obsolete by elevators?
Belinda told me
it would help me get in shape and enjoy life. She said
some other shit too.

THURSDAY :

Belinda was waiting for me with her vampire-like teeth
exposed as her
thin, cruel lips were pulled back in a full snarl.
I couldn't help
being a half an hour late, it took me that long to
tie my shoes.
Belinda took me to work out with dumbbells. When she was
not looking,I
ran and hid in the restroom. She sent another skinny
bitch to find me
Then, as punishment, she put me on the rowing
machine -- which I sank.

FRIDAY :

I hate that b***h Belinda more than any human being has
ever hated any
other human being in the history of the world. Stupid,
skinny, anemic,
anorexic little cheerleader. If there was a part of
my body I could
move without unbearable pain, I would beat her with it.
Belinda wanted
me to work on my triceps. I don't have any triceps!
And
if you don't want dents in the floor, don't hand me t
he damned barbells
or anything that weighs more than a sandwich. The treadmill
flung me off
and I landed on a health and nutrition teacher. Why couldn't
it have been
someone softer, like the drama coach or the
choir director?

SATURDAY :

Belinda left a message on my answering machine in her
grating, shrilly
voice wondering why I did not show up today. Just hearing
her made me
want to smash the machine with my planner. However,
I lacked the strength
to even use the TV remote and ended up catching eleven
straight hours of
the Weather Channel.

SUNDAY :
I'm having the Church van pick me up for services
today so I can go
and thank GOD that this week is over. I will also pray
that next year
my daughter (the little shit) will choose a gift for me
that is fun --
like a root canal or a hysterectomy. I still say if
God had wanted me
to bend over, he would have
sprinkled the floor with diamonds!!!

Hot Safe Spoon ~Nuby~ Review

Heat Sensitive Soft tip Safety Spoon

The soft tip Hot Safe™ weaning spoon changes color when baby’s food is too hot (Approximately 110˚F/43˚C or above). The easy-grip handle is comfortable for mom to hold during feeding, whilst the soft tip of the spoon is gentle on tender gums.

From a Moms point of view

When first examining the Hot Safe Spoon from Nuby you can see the difference in shape right away. The Green Hot Safe Spoon has a unique shape that I found made it easier to feed my son Aiden.
Applesauce and the Hot Safe Spoon indicates that it is the ideal temperature for my little eater.
Aiden is now very confident in eating his solids, what I like about the Hot Safe Spoon is that I am not feeding from the side of the spoon. I find that we endured less mess with the Hot Safe Spoon. Normally he would be covered from under his eyes clear down to his chin.
The soft tip is so nice on Aiden's gums.. We have yet to see the first tooth but it is causing him great discomfort and his gums are very sensitive.

He liked the soft tip too....

I would recommend the Hot Safe Spoon from Nuby to other moms. We use all homemade baby food and are always feeding from a bowl. The handle on the spoon is long enough that for the moms out there who use bottled baby food that the spoon would fit clear down to the bottom of the jar which is great when you are on the go and do not have a dish and are feeding directly from the jar.

The Hot Safe Spoon from Nuby is BPA Free, Reasonably Priced, Durable, Great for use at home, and great to have in the diaper bag when on the go.

As a mom I am really impressed with Nuby baby products. Aiden is my third child and with Seamus and Jacob we also used a number of Nuby Products.

Kitchen Tidbit

I am by no means a professional chef, I do however enjoy being in a kitchen, cooking an baking yummy things for my family and friends to eat. Along the way I have picked up some very useful items that have helped me out tremendously in the kitchen making things go a little smoother.

Before deciding to stay at home with my children I was a Purchasing Agent for a Restaurant Supply Company and one thing that I would strongly recommend to anyone is to check out their local Restaurant Supply Store for top Quality at a low price. Everything from Professional Cookware, Knives(Z.W.Henkle, Wustoff, Victorinox) appliances(Kitchen aide, Robocoupe) to top quality cutlery and dishware.

My kitchen Tidbit today is the Vollrath Dishers, Used in restaurants for portion control, used in my home the same way we do a lot of baking cookies, muffins, etc. I use a small(violet) disher when making cookies and meatballs. It keeps them all the same size which is key for baking times, you want a consistent size. I use a medium(red) Size disher when making muffins, easily scoops the batter, and all the muffins are the same size.

What kitchen tidbits do you have to share with us?
Stay tuned for more kitchen tidbits.
