I am having such a great time making baby food for Aiden. I thoroughly enjoy being in the kitchen and cooking for my family. I made Carrots for Aiden last week I went down to a roadside vegetable stand and bought locally grown organic carrots. I washed , peeled, steamed, blended, and then froze the carrots in ice cube trays in the freezer, I then removed the cubes from the trays and placed in a freezer bag. Carrots are done. Total cost of produce for this batch of baby foods is $3.00 and that's Canadian dollars!

I love doing the homemade babyfood too! Isn't it easy? The bummer is I have a ton of locally grown organic carrots that I've gotten recently, and my daughter doesn't like carrots! Good thing they can be frozen. She didn't used to like apples or pears either :) Your little guy is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks!! my next attempt at Baby food is going to be Butternut Squash.. There is so much produce that is in Season right now available at our farmers markets I am definately taking advantage of that.
